The Association of Banks was established in November 1978, and was registered at that time as an ordinary association based on the provisions of the Law of Associations and Social Organizations No. (33) of 1966 and its amendments. In 2000, Banking Law No. (28) was issued, in which Article (95) stipulated the establishment of an association called the Association of Banks. In accordance with this law, on March 29, 2006, the new association system No. (35) of 2005 was issued, and since that date the association has become an institution under the Banking Law. The association is a member of the Union of Arab Banks.

Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC), the central development arm of the ASEZA, was launched in 2004.ADC is owned by the Government of Jordan and ASEZA, is mandated to build new infrastructure and required superstructure, expand existing utilities, create necessary business enablers and manage/operate key facilities for ASEZ. ADC owns the ports, airport, and strategic parcels of land. It also has the development/management rights for these assets and key infrastructure and utilities. It strives to develop these assets and optimize private sector participation in their development and management to stimulate the economy and promote growth and development of ASEZ and, thus, Jordan.

Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA) is a non-profit-making organization that seeks to use the efforts of its members to support private sector activities, in the aim of promoting Jordan’s economic links with European countries.
JEBA was founded in 1995 following the participation of a Jordanian private sector delegation to the European Commission Med Partenariat held in Egypt in 1994.
Association members include a wide spectrum of distinguished Jordanian and European firms and businesspersons.
JEBA aims at promoting and strengthening sustainable trade and investment linkages between Jordanian businesses and European counterparts, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Jordan Numbering Association (GS1 Jordan) is a not-for-profit association, the administration of GS1 Jordan is entrusted to a Board of Directors composed of five Directors from Trade, Industry and Governmental Sectors.

Jordan Exporters Association (JEA), a private, voluntary membership, not for profit organization, was established in 1989 to assist Jordanian business in their quest to develop export markets. JEA represents, amongst its membership structure, leading manufacturing and service concerns from various sectors of the Jordanian economy. Through its daily activities and strategic projects, JEA has enabled Jordanian exporters to identify new opportunities for their goods and services in international markets. JEA was able to position itself as the only private sector organization in Jordan
involved in the promotion of exports and in being the powerful voice of the export sector within the government and the private sector.
JEA has developed a number of core services, to cater for the exporting sector of Jordan, which fall into the following categories: export promotion (collective participation in trade fairs and trade missions/B2B), market information, export development and capacity building (workshops, seminars), networking activities such as executive dinners with a keynote speaker, and public policy/advocacy. These activities are all geared towards helping exporters link with buyers in international markets, increase access to market information, and enhance their capabilities to help develop successful export operations.

The Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) was established in (1962) as a non- governmental non for profit organization. Currently, it has more than (9,000) industrial enterprises registered as members, employing more than 155 thousands workers with a total of registered capital in excess of (3,7) billion Jordan Dinars. Member enterprises varies in sizes to small, medium and large industries. They are classified to (10) industrial sub sectors operating in the capital Amman, and reaching out to six governorates that expand from the middle to the southern regions of the kingdom.
ACI has become a main stakeholder in contributing to the economic and industrial development in Jordan as well as contributing to policy formulation, raising and following the industrial demands and interests of its members.
ACI organises a set of programs, services and activities that aim to enhance the competitiveness and performance of the industrial sector, increase local market share and develop national exports. Furthermore, to achieve its goals, ACI cooperates closely through joint projects and activities with national stakeholders, ministries and governmental organizations, in addition to international organizations and donor agencies.
The ACI’s headquarters is located in Amman – Jabel Amman close to the 2nd circle, while it has branch offices in the industrial regions of Sahab, Mowaqar, Marka & Qastal in addition to different governorates within its geographical coverage.
